HOW TO PUT DVD MOVIES ON PSP

It's all well and good your PSP playing videos you've downloaded from the internet but what about longer journeys? Follow our guide and you'll be able to convert the films you already own on DVD into videos that play on your PSP.

STEP 1

On your PC download Auto Gordian Knot and PSP Video 9. Run the Auto Gordian Knot setup program and follow the on screen prompts to install the required codecs.

STEP 2
Start Auto Gordian Knot. Click the folder icon to the right of the Input File box. Click the dropdown menu at the top and select your DVD drive. Go through the folders until you find one with lots of files with the extention .ifo and .vob. Double click the first .ifo file.

STEP 3
Back on the main Gordian Knot screen look for where it says video info and make sure it makes sense. If the length seems short repeat step 2, selecting the second .ifo file instead. Repeat until you get the file you want.

STEP 4
Select the Output File folder and give your film a name. Under select output size click Custom Size and choose the maximum size (in megabytes) you have room for on your flash card. You want at least 700 for a 90 minute film. Click Add Job, then Start.

STEP 5
Wait. For ages – hours on most computers. When it's finally done, run the PSP Video 9 setup program and follow the on screen prompts. Connect your PSP and run PSP Video 9. Click Done on the first screen once your PSP has been found.

STEP 6
Click Convert then One Click Transcode and choose the video file you made earlier. Wait for it to finish then click the copy button. Click Copy to PSP to send the video to your console. And relax...
